This is a major update, with a new name, a new icon, a completely new Apple Watch app, and significant improvements across iPhone.
The Mini Calendar has been extensively updated and now includes Day, Week and Month views, making it easier to move between a detailed daily schedule and a broader view of the weeks and months ahead.
You can now open calendar items directly from the Mini Calendar, taking you straight from your schedule overview to the corresponding event.
Reminder support has also been improved, with updated reminder actions and a redesigned iPhone Reminder screen. Reminders can now be checked or unchecked directly from the Mini Calendar.

New Apple Watch App
This release introduces Merge for Apple Watch for the first time.
The new Watch app brings the Mini Calendar to your wrist with Day, Week and Month views. You can see events, reminders and important dates, open individual events directly on the Watch, and move through your schedule using the Digital Crown.
Reminders are interactive on Apple Watch too, so you can check or uncheck them directly from your wrist.
The Watch experience closely mirrors the core Mini Calendar functions on iPhone, giving you practical access to your schedule without needing to take out your phone.
